Before you join
Is it really free?
Yes. Players pay nothing to use NextSet — no subscription, no card, no trial that runs out. Your coach or club pays for the platform, and that covers you. The one exception is if your coach switches on in-app lesson payments: then you pay for your lessons through the app, with a card processing fee added on top of their rate.
Do I need a coach to use it?
No. You can log matches, run workouts, track your practice and add friends on your own. Joining a coach unlocks the rest — lessons, session notes, goals and assignments — and you can do that any time with their link, @handle or QR code.
Which sports does it cover?
Tennis, padel and pickleball. Pick the ones you play in your profile and the app follows you across all of them — matches, lessons and stats stay separate per sport.
What happens to my data if I leave my coach?
Your history stays yours. Past lessons, notes, matches and workouts remain in your account, and you can delete the account and everything in it at any time from your settings.
